The job

NSW Building & Civil builds and upgrades stormwater drainage for councils and government agencies across New South Wales, alongside our asphalt, concrete and paving works.

We dig the trenches, lay and connect the pipes and pits, then backfill and put the road, kerb or footpath back on top, so rainwater is carried away and the street is back in use quickly.

What we do

Stormwater Drainage

  1. Pits

New and replacement kerb inlet pits, junction pits and grates, set to the design levels so water drains in where it should.

  2. Pipes

Stormwater pipes laid in trenches to the right line and fall, joined to the pits and backfilled.

  3. Culverts

Pipe and box culverts that carry water under roads, driveways and paths.

  4. Headwalls

Concrete headwalls where pipes and culverts end, holding the bank in place and stopping erosion where the water comes out.
